This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Develop and sustain positive, long-term relationships with key individuals at hospital-level clients.
• Implement initiatives from the IDN level down to the hospital/account level.
• Propel innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts and clients.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and sales teams to expand prospects and facilitate the closure of opportunities.
• Assist in navigating VAC approval processes for new products and influence VAC members.
• Anticipate customer requirements, market changes, and competitive challenges.
• Work together with cross-functional teams on overall strategies, marketing content development, and external tactics.
• Manage multiple priorities to support and enhance business strategies.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with influential figures in the cardiovascular interventional sector.
• Promote long-term strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate and measure the impact of KOL engagements and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Clearly present Shockwave Medical’s clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing value proposition to key strategic accounts.
• Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge and engage clinically with physicians.
• Uphold the company's ethical and moral standards while representing the organization.
• Adhere to corporate compliance, FDA, medical device, quality standards, and ethical requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in medical devices; cardiovascular interventional experience preferred.
• Proven success in sales of catheter technology related to occlusive vascular disease, endovascular procedures, atherectomy, stents, or coronary sales, with peripheral influence preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the contracting process and comprehensive understanding of the VAC process.
• Extensive knowledge of sales applications and principles.
• Strong influencing skills to advocate for the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment and balanced decision-making abilities.
• Capability to independently manage time and resources within assigned strategic accounts.
• Must not be debarred by the FDA for any work in the Medical Device industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to function effectively as part of a team and/or independently while displaying adaptability to changing requirements.
• Capacity to sit for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
• Must currently reside in one of the designated locations; relocation is not available.
