Manager, Senior Manager – Analytics Consulting, Retail/CPG

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp objectives, economic factors, processes, constraints, and decision-making.

• Question assumptions and transform unclear business challenges into well-defined hypotheses, analyses, and decision-making frameworks.

• Analyze and interpret data, perform quick analyses, identify trends, and convert findings into actionable business implications and recommendations.

• Utilize GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics, and low-code/no-code tools to brainstorm ideas, evaluate information, and create functional prototypes.

• Work alongside data scientists, engineers, domain specialists, product teams, and AI agents when advanced expertise is necessary.

• Present findings in straightforward business terminology, suggest actionable steps, and convert recommendations into quantifiable business outcomes.

• Experiment with new AI and technology capabilities to enhance business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in business analytics, strategy/management consulting, commercial analytics, operations, supply chain, finance, marketing/customer analytics, product management, or a similar decision-focused business environment.

• Strong business curiosity paired with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Previous experience in the Retail/CPG Industry is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical mindset and comfort in handling data directly.

• Ability to progress from business questions to hypotheses, analyses, insights, and ultimately decisions/actions.

• Capability to constructively challenge stakeholders instead of merely accepting their requirements.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and addressing loosely defined challenges.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Excel, SQL, BI/visualization tools, and/or Python.

• Keen interest and hands-on skills with GenAI, AI agents, and new productivity/development tools.

• Quick learner of new technologies without needing to be an expert software engineer.

• Ability to unite business, analytics, technology, and specialist teams to deliver solutions swiftly.
