This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Oversee a team of Screening Solutions Specialists within a specified geographical area.
• Advocate for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products to healthcare providers, including physicians, integrated delivery networks, and multi-specialty clinics.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage the team's performance while actively promoting products.
• Accompany direct reports on travel to observe, train, and coach them effectively.
• Manage sales targets for the area and report performance to management.
• Create communication and operational frameworks to facilitate information sharing and teamwork.
• Ensure the sales team adheres to Quality, Regulatory, and Company policies and guidelines.
• Cultivate relationships with influential thought leaders and decision-makers.
• Gather customer insights, market trends, and competitive data, and share these findings with leadership and colleagues.
• Present the technology and clinical advantages of products that are relevant to customers.
• Ensure the effective application of sales processes and the use of approved marketing and promotional materials.
• Utilize stakeholders and company resources to deliver technical, clinical, and business content, providing solutions for customers.
• Manage open territories and recruit new personnel as territories become available.
• Exhibit outstanding leadership, encourage high performance, lead with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and establish a clear vision for the team.
• Delegate tasks, evaluate employee performance, and offer feedback and training opportunities.
• Predict and meet quarterly and annual sales objectives.
• Uphold the mission and values of the company while supporting the Quality Management System.
• Promote an inclusive mindset.
• Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Be available to work nights and/or weekends as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field as highlighted in the essential duties.
• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales position within the medical, healthcare, or technical sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
• A valid driver's license with no suspended, revoked, surrendered, or invalid status.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the last 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related vehicle incidents in the past 36 months.
• No unacceptable liability outcomes from the Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Capacity to meet healthcare facility access standards, including vaccination and mask mandates.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience selling to or managing sales teams in primary care physician offices or OB/GYN practices.
• Preferred: Experience in a sales leadership capacity.
