Manager, Pharmacy Informatics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main subject matter expert for medication-related elements of the EHR build, focusing on clinical workflow design, regulatory compliance, and the adoption of best practices.

• Oversee Devoted Medical's e-prescribing capabilities and technical partnerships/integrations with Surescripts and Medi-Span.

• Administer internal medication information mapping tools within Devoted’s platform.

• Perform thorough clinical testing to verify medication-related processes in the EHR.

• Oversee certifications and systems integration testing in collaboration with engineering teams and LLM agents.

• Connect clinical practice, engineering, and integrations to enhance medication documentation, prescribing, and monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the U.S. healthcare IT sector, possessing a comprehensive understanding of healthcare information systems and electronic health records (EHRs).

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, with the capability to ensure the organization's compliance.

• Previous experience using Medi-Span or Surescripts products, NCPDP standards, and pharmacy claims transmission is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with clinical vocabularies such as RxNorm, SNOMED CT, and NDC.

• Expertise in e-prescribing standards and technologies, particularly HL7 and XML.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Self-driven team player with robust organizational and analytical abilities.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• State licensure in good standing is required at the time of application in any of the states where Devoted operates.

• Pharm D degree is preferred.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience and two years in dedicated informatics (preferably in an ambulatory setting) is preferred.
