Manager of IT, Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive analysis of issues related to technical systems and application software; document results and suggest alternatives for resolution.

• Formulate and execute IT strategies that align with company objectives and improve operational effectiveness.

• Guide, mentor, and supervise IT teams, promoting a culture of innovation and ongoing enhancement.

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of various complex IT projects, ensuring compliance with scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

• Work with stakeholders to establish project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.

• Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and best practices, including security measures.

• Collaborate with network personnel to guarantee the seamless and reliable operation of software and systems to meet business goals and processes.

• Operate at the highest level across all technical aspects of programming, utilizing creative thinking and the accumulated knowledge and experience of the team.

• Create and implement both manual and automated procedures to address business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline; master's degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT leadership and managing IT coding projects.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

• Familiarity with the complete software development life cycle.

• Experience in document management, vendor management, and website administration.

• Proven ability to lead a team, with a history of goal setting, effective delegation, and skill development for team members.

• Exceptional communication skills across all levels, with capabilities in teamwork, leadership, and self-motivation.

• Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

• Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or similar qualifications are advantageous.
