Manager, Mortgage Loan Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, train, and inspire the mortgage processing team.

• Supervise daily workload and monitor processing volumes.

• Assist in achieving or surpassing service-level expectations.

• Ensure the processing team provides exceptional customer service.

• Keep accurate and current loan records in Encompass360.

• Record communications related to loan processing.

• Collaborate with Loan Originators, Underwriters, Closers, credit reporting agencies, AMCs, title companies, employers, landlords, and other stakeholders to finalize loan files.

• Support the origination and fulfillment of mortgage loans.

• Onboard new team members and offer training and guidance.

• Oversee workloads while managing staff hours and controlling overtime costs.

• Create and implement productivity enhancement strategies.

• Identify the personnel, processes, and tools necessary for success.

• Evaluate situations, recognize issues, and take responsibility for their resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.

• Minimum of 2 years in a management role.

• Customer-service oriented, with exceptional time-management and communication skills.

• Capability to multitask and excel in a dynamic, high-volume service environment.

• Experience with processing Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loans is preferred.

• Familiarity with Encompass360 is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities, along with effective time-management skills.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with both internal and external partners.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
