Manager, Medical Communications and Content Solutions – Vaccines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive global medical content for the Vaccines therapeutic area.

• Create medical affairs materials, including abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters and presentations, graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education resources, social media content, infographics, videos, multimedia, and other external medical communications.

• Conduct research, organize, compile, interpret, and ensure quality of technical and/or medical information for straightforward projects.

• Collaborate with medical communications and content teams, scientific publication committees, congress working groups, digital channel content teams, generative AI working groups, and other cross-functional collaborators.

• Offer solutions to authors for designated projects and work alongside Graphics, Compliance agency, Statistics, and Gen AI teams.

• Review content for accuracy and maintain data quality to ensure medical communications accurately reflect data.

• Complete projects within established timelines while adhering to quality and compliance standards.

• Assist in the creation of training materials focusing on product and therapeutic-area priorities.

• Provide training on relevant tools and processes, including generative AI technology platforms.

• Monitor the progress of assigned projects and address issues with guidance from the Team Lead.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in medical content generation and apply industry best practices.

• Cultivate expertise in leading content-creation tools and facilitate knowledge sharing across the MCCS team.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD, MSc, MPH, MPharm).

• Exceptional scientific writing abilities, with a talent for interpreting and summarizing complex data in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

• At least 3 years of experience in writing or developing medical content within the pharmaceutical industry, academic environments, CROs, or biotech firms.

• Capability to lead and manage a project from start to finish.

• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with authors and external stakeholders across diverse cultures and regions.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Keen attention to detail and consistent follow-up with collaborators.

• Solid understanding of statistical principles relevant to medical research.

• Knowledge of epidemiologic principles.

• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to independently lead projects and engage various stakeholders.

• Familiarity with technology applications in medical content development.

• Experience with software commonly used for data presentation and analysis, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Preferred: Experience in creating and developing medical content.

• Preferred: Expertise in specific therapeutic areas.

• Preferred: ISMPP-CMPP™ certification.

• Preferred: Experience with multimedia and omnichannel strategies.

• Preferred: Quick adaptation to new digital content, technologies, and resources.
