This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and guide DevOps/cloud engineers; oversee their performance and development plans.
• Cultivate collaboration, ongoing learning, accountability, inclusion, trust, and engagement among distributed teams.
• Supervise CI/CD standardization for Java, .NET, and Node.js applications.
• Promote the adoption of the Internal Developer Portal and facilitate the golden path enablement.
• Direct the standards and guardrails for Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
• Integrate DevSecOps best practices into pipelines and cloud environments.
• Spearhead proof-of-concept projects for innovative tools and automation enhancements.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to provide scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps platforms.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions and provide guidance to stakeholders.
• Offer responsive, high-quality service while maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders.
• Align platform capabilities with client requirements to enhance business impact.
• Promote automation, operational efficiency, and cloud cost optimization across Azure and AWS.
• Provide self-service platform capabilities to boost developer productivity.
• Establish and uphold best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Continuously enhance service reliability, scalability, and performance while reducing risk.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, resource allocation, goal setting, and accountability for the team.
• At least eight years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools, including Harness, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Practical expertise with AWS and/or Azure, covering architecture to operations.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of public cloud architecture and operations across Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with Java, Node.js, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and service mesh technologies.
• Strong skills in collaboration, transparency, and stakeholder management.
• AWS and/or Azure certifications; professional-level certification is preferred.
• Must possess US work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
