This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and oversee a diverse team of controls engineers who provide technical assistance for post-commissioned systems.

• Create, execute, and sustain a systematic and measurable training and cross-training program spanning various control platforms.

• Track training advancements using KPIs, skills matrices, and milestone monitoring.

• Manage and prioritize the resolution of technical challenges in live systems.

• Serve as an escalation point for intricate troubleshooting and critical incidents.

• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and site operations teams to address systemic issues and enhance system efficiency.

• Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and standard operating protocols.

• Allocate resources and balance workloads amidst changing priorities.

• Conduct performance evaluations, career development planning, and mentorship for team members.

• Promote ongoing improvement in support processes, training, and system reliability.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Over 5 years of experience in industrial automation, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

• Demonstrated expertise with multiple control platforms.

• Strong foundation in system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and long-term technical support.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing team training or capability development initiatives.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, high-uptime environments.

• Occasional travel may be necessary for site visits or escalated support needs.

• Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies (e.g., conveyors, ASRS, shuttles, robotics).

• Experience in managing or collaborating with global support teams.

• Knowledge of service management tools and support ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, SalesForce).

• Understanding of version control and change management applicable to PLC and automation systems.
