Manager – Clinical Documentation Analysts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the creation and implementation of automated, self-service dashboards utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

• Personalize dashboards for various audiences, ranging from C-Suite summaries to detailed chart-level data for CDI specialists.

• Recruit, train, and mentor business system analysts in technical skills, SQL, data visualization, and clinical/coding expertise.

• Collaborate with Physician Advisors and CDI Directors to deliver data insights to clinical staff.

• Adapt data presentations to illustrate to physicians how documentation deficiencies impact their quality profiles.

• Supervise the extraction and integration of data from EHR systems like Epic or Cerner, coding software, and billing databases.

• Develop a consolidated data warehouse for CDI analytics.

• Monitor and evaluate CDI KPIs, including CMI, CC/MCC capture rates, and SOI/ROM scores.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) is essential.

• Relevant licensure is required based on the state in which the work is conducted.

• A High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of relevant cumulative experience OR an Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role is preferred.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, scripting languages (Python, Tableau, Power BI, Apps Script), SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is required.

• Familiarity with clinical/coding knowledge is necessary.

• A strong understanding of HL7, FHIR, or EHR data integration principles is essential.

• Project Management, CDI, and CCDS certification is needed.
