Manager, Business Systems Expert – Inventory, Warehouse Management, Logistics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into precise functional and technical SAP specifications.

• Work closely with Product Owners and end-users to prioritize backlogs and foster continuous improvement.

• Offer functional expertise across Inventory, Logistics, Warehousing, and Shipping operations.

• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to implement warehouse solutions that improve operational efficiency.

• Configure SAP IM/WM modules and tailor solutions to meet enterprise-specific needs.

• Facilitate cross-module integrations within SAP ECC and S/4HANA, addressing WM and EWM dependencies.

• Design and execute new or enhanced ECC functionalities to support future transitions to S/4HANA.

• Assess workflows, streamline processes, and improve user experience.

• Partner with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop ROM estimates and design solutions.

• Create functional documentation and training resources.

• Perform functional testing and assist in quality assurance initiatives.

• Oversee transports in conjunction with change and configuration management procedures.

• Deliver ongoing functional support and resolve issues as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.

• 8–10 years of experience with SAP ECC, specializing in Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM), Shipping (TMS), and Logistics.

• Expertise in JIRA, Confluence, and additional agile delivery tools.

• Over 5 years of experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery methodologies.

• Background in collaborating with 3rd party logistics (3PL) partners.

• Familiarity with supporting or integrating conveyor-based warehouse operations.

• Practical experience with SAP IMG configuration.

• Knowledge of the SAP Fiori UX framework and application suite.

• Real-world experience in warehouse operations, encompassing receiving, inspection, pick/pack/pass, as well as serial and batch management.

• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
