This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Business Partner team, developing and advancing digital and IT strategies that align with the overall business strategy.

• Serve as a reliable partner to business divisions by comprehending medium- and long-term challenges and growth opportunities.

• Propel value creation, business transformation, and enhancement of organizational capabilities through technology.

• Manage the system portfolio alongside IT investments.

• Lead the development and implementation of a digital roadmap that aligns with business goals.

• Supervise the team while personally driving key projects and strategic initiatives as a player-manager.

• Work closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders as well as the Digital & IT organization.

• Contribute to sustainable business outcomes and expedite digital transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in IT, digital, or business partner roles.

• Proven experience in leading IT projects or business transformation programs involving various stakeholders.

• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT service management.

• Experience in developing IT strategies, managing portfolios, and overseeing IT investments.

• Outstanding problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in multicultural and global settings.

• Experience in team leadership or people management.

• Proficient communication skills in both Japanese and English at a business level.

• Ability to lead and make independent decisions to advance the organization in uncertain environments.
