Manager, Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main BI relationship partner for designated clients and internal business leaders.

• Facilitate discovery sessions and business reviews with senior stakeholders.

• Share recommendations, delivery progress, risks, and tradeoffs; manage expectations and service issues.

• Convert stakeholder requirements into business specifications, scope, acceptance criteria, and prioritized tasks.

• Maintain BI solution roadmaps for the assigned accounts or business functions.

• Assess solution options, dependencies, and efforts in collaboration with technical leads.

• Develop delivery plans that include milestones, ownership, resources, and risks.

• Oversee the BI solution lifecycle from discovery through development coordination, validation, release, training, and service enhancement.

• Track delivery and service performance, address obstacles, and communicate decisions and recovery strategies.

• Verify data availability, metric definitions, access requirements, and governance standards.

• Coordinate business validation and stakeholder acceptance processes.

• Direct adoption planning, communications, training, feedback, and outcome evaluations.

• Spot opportunities for automation, advanced analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and efficient BI delivery.

• Conduct regular solution and service evaluations and prioritize enhancements.

• Assess and pilot new capabilities in partnership with analytics and technology leaders.

• Align account leadership, operations, BI analysts, developers, and data engineers around priorities and delivery goals.

• Mentor team members on stakeholder communication, business requirements, and service delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics consulting, or BI solution delivery.

• Proven track record in managing client relationships, engaging senior stakeholders, and leading cross-functional projects.

• Familiarity with BI platforms such as Power BI, data integration, data governance, and enterprise analytics principles.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Knowledge of Salesforce report building, SQL, and Python.

• Excellent relationship management, executive presentation, facilitation, and negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to convert business needs into precise requirements and manage expectations, competing priorities, and escalations.

• Capacity to link BI investments to business outcomes, manage scope and delivery risks, and guide stakeholders through prioritization and acceptance decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to influence across teams, handle multiple initiatives, and translate stakeholder feedback and emerging capabilities into practical service and solution enhancements.
