Manager, Business Analysis, Workforce Initiatives, Data & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee workforce analytics and business intelligence strategies that support Workforce Initiatives programs and align with enterprise objectives.

• Convert workforce, operational, participant, and stakeholder data into practical insights and recommendations.

• Create executive dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to measure program success, workforce outcomes, community impact, and operational effectiveness.

• Deliver data storytelling, workforce trend analysis, and performance reports to leadership.

• Act as the business owner for the Workforce Initiatives data ecosystem and the enterprise workforce reporting environment.

• Spearhead data enhancement initiatives across Workday, ATS, LearningHub, Sophia, and related technologies.

• Establish standards for data governance and enhance data integrations and flows.

• Build a scalable data architecture and the Workforce Initiatives Data Vault.

• Develop predictive models, forecasting models, and scenario-based analyses to aid workforce planning and program decisions.

• Design and maintain reporting frameworks utilizing Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and other business intelligence tools.

• Drive automation, exception reporting, process optimization, and AI-enabled analytics initiatives.

• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Operations, Finance, IT, vendors, and external stakeholders.

• Lead cross-functional projects and communicate findings and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

• Mentor, coach, and support team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Workforce Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, or related fields.

• Proven experience leading enterprise data initiatives, business intelligence projects, and reporting transformation efforts.

• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization and reporting platforms.

• Strong SQL skills, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and data management.

• Experience handling large datasets, implementing data governance frameworks, and managing data quality programs.

• Ability to convey complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in translating business challenges into data-driven solutions and influencing decisions among various stakeholder groups.

• Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to present complex data and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive audiences.

• Experience utilizing analytics for strategic business decisions, workforce planning, and operational enhancements.
