Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Directly report to the executive team during consulting assignments for clients in financial risk management.

• Oversee a small team of professionals, including both employees and client resources, on various customer engagements.

• Identify, plan, coordinate, and verify deliverables associated with customer engagements.

• Assign deliverables to team members effectively.

• Ensure that project data and information are managed according to expectations, adhering to strict budget and time constraints.

• Collaborate with business unit and IT sponsors to set project goals, success criteria, and conduct risk assessments.

• Manage approved funding in conjunction with business sponsors and IT.

• Work alongside architecture team members to ensure solutions align with the overall IT strategy and data governance.

• Coordinate successful project delivery across various IT teams.

• Develop and manage realistic, credible project plans with buy-in from resources and business sponsors.

• Provide status updates to stakeholders and facilitate communication among stakeholders and teams.

• Ensure clear understanding of goals, priorities, and responsibilities among team members.

• Oversee projects related to data warehousing, ETL, and reporting systems.

• Collaborate closely with support teams to manage transition and warranty phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a financial risk consultant role or a closely related occupation.

• Proven ability to apply mathematical concepts using SAS software within a financial services context, acquired through three (3) years of work experience.

• Demonstrated understanding of financial regulatory standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and CECL, along with related accounting practices, gained through three (3) years of work experience.

• Proven knowledge of SAS reporting and management modules, acquired through three (3) years of work experience.

• All years of experience may be obtained concurrently.
