Management Consultant, Enterprise Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop enterprise architecture strategies, governance models, target architectures, and roadmaps that align with business objectives and value streams.

• Create business capabilities, processes, application portfolios, and platform landscapes tailored for scalable digital operating models.

• Construct information, data, API-first, integration, and event-driven architectures.

• Lead the modernization of legacy and monolithic environments toward cloud-native, modular, and microservices-based architectures.

• Assist clients in harmonizing technology landscapes, managing technical debt, and facilitating IT migrations.

• Design multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments alongside new platforms.

• Address issues related to cloud migration and exit strategies, business process resilience, open-source solutions, maintainability, and DevOps practices and processes.

• Promote AI readiness and define architectures for AI-enabled and autonomous systems.

• Advocate for the effective application of AI tools to enhance architecture, delivery, and decision-making processes.

• Establish architecture principles, standards, processes, and decision-making frameworks.

• Provide advice to business and IT stakeholders up to the executive level.

• Conduct workshops, apply agile methodologies such as SAFe, and ensure the successful implementation of architectural changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in Enterprise and IT Architecture, preferably across various industries.

• Proficient in utilizing modern AI tools to enhance architecture design, consulting, and delivery.

• A mindset oriented toward continuously exploring and adopting emerging AI capabilities.

• Exceptional communication skills in both English and German.

• Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements.

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), Architecture Governance, and Architecture Maturity Assessments.

• Experience in Business Capability Management, Business-IT Alignment, IT Strategy, and IT Governance.

• Knowledge in Business, Application, Information, Data, Integration, Technology, and Security Architecture.

• Familiarity with API-first, event-driven, service-oriented, cloud-native, and microservices architectures.

• Understanding of data management concepts (e.g., master data management, data lakes, data mesh).

• Experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).

• Knowledge of architecture modeling standards (e.g., ArchiMate).

• Experience with AI readiness, agentic AI architectures, and modern AI-enabled enterprise platforms.
