LVR Regional Manager – Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the asset recovery process within the designated region.

• Lead, mentor, and provide support to Asset Recovery Representatives.

• Collaborate with Logistics and asset management teams to enhance collections and optimize resource allocation.

• Monitor transportation expenses and select carriers in alignment with budget objectives.

• Identify and resolve operational challenges related to transportation, collections, and customer interactions.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain zero-harm compliance in recovery operations.

• Analyze collection performance and generate weekly reports with actionable recommendations.

• Promote continuous enhancement of asset recovery processes, tools, hardware, and resources.

• Manage CHEP’s Low Volume Recovery operations within the assigned geographical area.

• Develop, implement, and execute plans covering regional safety, compliance, staffing, logistics, customer service, reporting, and financial aspects.

• Directly oversee 22–28 LVR Representatives while providing indirect leadership to regional coordinators and administrators.

• Ensure that asset management, financial, safety, budgetary, forecasting, staffing, service-level, P&L, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Asset Productivity, and support teams to ensure effective execution and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is mandatory.

• 3-5+ years of experience in people leadership.

• A minimum of 3 years in P&L management or ownership.

• Strong leadership capabilities.

• Knowledge of CHEP’s Asset Management strategies.

• Familiarity with current LTL/Route optimization methodologies.

• Understanding of DOT Regulations.

• Ability to lead complex execution plans for regional transportation.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong customer focus.

• Familiarity with CHEP’s supply chain and overarching strategy.

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of DOT eLog Systems (e.g., JJ Keller Encompass).

• Understanding of Customer Service Strategies.

• Experience in P&L Management.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.

• Strategic Workforce Planning experience.

• Proficiency in English is essential; Spanish is a plus.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
