Luxury Safari Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create and promote customized luxury safari itineraries throughout East Africa, encompassing Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and adjacent areas.

• Interact directly with affluent clients to grasp their preferences, expectations, and travel aspirations.

• Oversee the complete client journey from the initial inquiry to booking confirmation and travel completion.

• Collaborate with lodges, camps, and local partners to guarantee seamless execution of itineraries.

• Establish and uphold trust-based relationships with clients through outstanding communication and service delivery.

• Remain informed about East African destinations, new lodge openings, seasonal travel trends, and regulatory guidelines.

• Meet and surpass individual sales goals while contributing to the overall success of the team.

• Ensure accuracy and professionalism in itineraries, communications, and updates within the CRM system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a luxury travel consultant, preferably with a significant emphasis on East Africa.

• Comprehensive understanding of East African destinations, including lodges, camps, safari routes, and exclusive experiences.

• Proven success in direct-to-client luxury travel sales and itinerary creation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging high-net-worth clients.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail when managing intricate itineraries.

• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team environment.

• Enthusiasm for travel, wildlife, conservation, and providing exceptional client experiences.

• Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish.

• Familiarity with luxury travel systems such as Wetu, Tourplan, or similar CRM/itinerary platforms.

• Prior experience working with international high-end clientele in a sales-focused setting.
