This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Evaluate current loyalty or rewards programs, focusing on mechanics, redemption structures, and unit economics.
• Determine if loyalty serves as an effective growth strategy for a business, product, or customer segment.
• Develop loyalty program strategies and mechanics tailored for B2B, B2C, and marketplace models.
• Create business cases that link loyalty investments to customer retention, repeat behavior, and revenue growth.
• Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and the motivations of various audiences.
• Conduct benchmarking against competitors and similar loyalty programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from product, marketing, finance, and engineering departments.
• Translate strategies into execution-ready frameworks or proposals.
• Establish success metrics and measurement frameworks.
• Provide guidance on tiering, earn/burn mechanics, and personalization strategies.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
• Stay updated on best practices in loyalty and retention.
• Over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing loyalty programs, particularly in B2B, B2C, and/or marketplace environments.
• Proven track record in assessing unit economics and developing business cases for loyalty investments.
• Strong instincts in product and marketing.
• Capability to evaluate customer motivations and behaviors effectively.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions with product, engineering, and finance teams.
• Experience in converting strategies into actionable frameworks.
• Practical experience in launching loyalty programs.
• Proficient in managing ambiguity and delivering clear outcomes.
• Knowledge of loyalty and rewards platforms such as Yotpo, Smile.io, Annex Cloud, Bond, or custom-built systems.
• Familiarity with CRM and lifecycle marketing tools.
• Understanding of analytics platforms for cohort analysis, retention, and unit economics evaluation.
