Long-Term Care Auditor I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Interpret and implement federal and state Medicaid regulations, statutes, and policies related to long-term care.

• Analyze provider records across various accounting software systems to identify inconsistencies.

• Detect improper payments, including inaccuracies, collection issues, and coordination of benefits.

• Act as the primary point of contact for designated long-term care providers.

• Oversee a caseload of 30+ cases at different stages of completion.

• Prepare and present provider reports while ensuring continuous communication during the audit process.

• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding audit status.

• Conduct audits and evaluate financial data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of long-term care Medicaid payments.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree is required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to achieve or surpass revenue and audit goals.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with internal teams and long-term care providers.

• Adaptability to shifting priorities and the ability to follow directions as necessary.

• Must live in Eastern or Central Time Zone locations.

• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and in the first week of orientation.

• Reliable high-speed internet is mandatory (minimum 24 Mbps download / 8 Mbps upload; higher speeds are recommended).
