Senior Claims Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Accurately and efficiently review and process medium to complex crop insurance claim files.

• Provide excellent customer service to agents and producers.

• Act as a subject matter expert in at least one area of claims auditing.

• Offer guidance and expertise to fellow colleagues.

• Timely and accurately audit and process claims to meet quality production standards.

• Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, agents, and producers to resolve issues related to claims.

• Work both independently and collaboratively to identify problems and develop solutions.

• Suggest appropriate methods for communicating claim resolutions.

• Utilize Loss Adjustment Manuals, policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and internal resources to address challenges.

• Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and internal policies and procedures.

• Investigate and resolve complex claims issues while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in crop insurance.

• Proven experience in crop insurance claims auditing and processing is preferred.

• Familiarity with Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) policies.

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and relevant software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general technical/computer systems.

• Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and communication skills.

• Ability to engage with both internal and external customers.

• Capability to understand and apply Loss Adjustment Manuals, policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other internal resources.

• Ability to audit all levels of Crop Claim types and process moderate to advanced claims.

• Proficient in researching and resolving complex claims issues with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to perform sedentary duties and maintain a constant sitting or standing position.

• Willingness to travel for meetings and training sessions.
