This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee a designated geographic territory while promoting and enhancing Neurocrine products.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with physicians and other clients for targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands and their approved indications.
• Inform physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about the advantages of products.
• Foster product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies using both face-to-face and virtual communications.
• Identify and address specific opportunities and challenges within the territory.
• Manage promotional resources and oversee budget allocation.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, best practices in the pharmaceutical industry, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech or related experience.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of comparable experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly desired.
• Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotics is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and broader related business concepts.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales objectives and achieving successful launches in complex environments.
• Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of business systems.
• Proficiency with sales platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A solid sales and account management orientation.
• Capability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
