Logistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the United States Coast Guard.

• Organize, plan, coordinate, and estimate intricate tasks related to design, development, acquisition, and maintenance.

• Create and ensure that requirements and implementation strategies adhere to logistics directives and supportability standards.

• Carry out and coordinate thorough analyses to incorporate support considerations into planning and/or design processes.

• Assess deliverables for technical adequacy.

• Assist in the development of logistics acquisition milestone requirements.

• Review and consistently update Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) for acquisition projects.

• Conduct logistics engineering analyses, such as Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and sparing/provisioning models.

• Collect Bill of Material data for Supply Item Change Records submission into inventory control.

• Create, baseline, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) utilizing MS Project.

• Execute Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence analysis on legacy aviation components.

• Leverage WCC portal (SharePoint), PACT tool (SharePoint), Webflis, NATO, and Cage site.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• 5 years of experience with Integrated Product Support and sustainment programs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

• Knowledge of Military Documentation Standards (MILSTD).

• Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any point in the future.

• Preferred: An Associate’s degree or higher.

• Preferred experience: Government provisioning, cataloguing, and parts quality assurance experience.

• Preferred experience: 5-9+ years working in a related field.

• Preferred background in Provisioning, Configuration Management, Ship Logistics, Design Interface Support, and Training.

• Preferred Coast Guard or Military experience with an engineering technician or IT background.
