Local Digital Marketer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Implement local digital marketing initiatives aligned with the regional marketing strategy, business goals, target demographics, budget, and campaign schedules.

• Tailor regional campaigns to suit the Japanese market by considering local consumer behavior, market trends, language, culture, and channel nuances.

• Assist in CRM/database management and collaborate on landing page development with the global marketing team.

• Oversee and enhance paid digital advertising across LINE, Yahoo! Japan, Google, and other pertinent global advertising platforms.

• Create and adapt ad copy, social media content, landing page text, email materials, and short-form video content.

• Foster lead generation through paid media, digital efforts, landing pages, forms, and events.

• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, designers, and outside partners for content and campaign execution.

• Track and improve metrics such as impressions, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rates, lead volume, and ROI/ROAS.

• Offer insights into the local market, competitor analysis, and suggestions to the Marketing Lead.

• Compile regular performance reports for campaigns with actionable insights.

• Partner closely with the Marketing Lead to convert regional strategies into local implementation.

• Liaise with the current Japan-based contractor working on the account.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and strong professional English (fluency in English is essential).

• Proven experience in marketing to B2B audiences in Japan.

• Knowledge of Japan's digital advertising landscape.

• Preferably experienced in the electronics, manufacturing, engineering, technology, or another technical B2B industry.
