This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Submit notices of appearance and other documents in accordance with local court regulations

• Aid in the electronic filing of pleadings, motions, briefs, and related documents via CM/ECF

• Act as local counsel in compliance with relevant federal and local rules

• Liaise with firm counsel about filing prerequisites and procedural issues

• Support the firm in representing clients and drafting appellate briefs for Social Security Disability appeals at the Federal District Court level, and potentially at the Circuit Court level

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed to practice in one or more relevant federal district courts as mentioned above

• Attorneys licensed in Alabama (Northern District), California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia (Southern District), Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, D.C., or Washington State

• Capability to adhere to relevant local court rules and procedures

• Familiarity with CM/ECF filing systems is preferred

• Excellent professional communication and responsiveness

• Exceptional writing abilities

• Curriculum vitae and a brief cover letter outlining state admissions and relevant federal district court admissions
