This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead local media relations, assess and prioritize incoming communication requests, manage local crises, pinpoint internal content opportunities, and act as the local contact to enhance brand visibility and assist sales efforts.

• Oversee local PR agencies across a 19-state region and implement market media strategies in collaboration with local teams.

• Develop content and media materials including messaging, FAQs, blog posts, videos, and official statements.

• Identify and share content, edit external documents, train employees as speakers, and create new content distribution channels.

• Manage the communications calendar and notifications, support local initiatives alongside cross-functional partners, and establish tracking and analysis tools for external campaigns.

• Organize, coordinate, and assist with events for market launches and significant activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, journalism, media relations, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in prioritizing, planning, managing, and executing various communications/PR projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience handling media relations (e.g., PR writing).
