This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and internal teams concerning billing statements, account status, and adjustments.
• Address inquiries related to promissory notes and the loan funding process.
• Oversee the loan-service inbox and manage requests, documents, and deliverables.
• Administer Core Lending loan-closing procedures and verify closing details in original documents and the lending platform.
• Facilitate loan disbursements and confirm wire and ACH instructions in line with approved credit policies.
• Coordinate requested disbursements with the Finance Department.
• Execute collection calls in compliance with FDCPA standards.
• Process returned mail, late notices, account modifications, and servicing documentation.
• Maintain prompt communication with Client Services and manage a high volume of phone and email interactions.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of borrower and loan records within internal systems.
• Review and process requests for account maintenance, such as address and banking changes.
• Guarantee adherence to internal lending policies and servicing protocols.
• Assist with the review of loan documentation and quality assurance efforts.
• Organize, track, and uphold loan-related files and correspondence.
• Escalate borrower issues and concerns regarding delinquency as necessary.
• Support departmental reporting and operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance and Client Services to address borrower requests.
• Manage various priorities while fulfilling service-level expectations.
• Execute additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
• Over 3 years of experience in Loan Collections, Loan Closing, Quality Control, or Client Services.
• Background in loan servicing or lending operations.
• Demonstrated experience in client or borrower service.
• Knowledge of loan documentation and closing procedures.
• Experience in collections and understanding of FDCPA standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Experience managing wire or ACH transactions.
• Ability to effectively manage high volumes of phone and email communications.
• Excellent administrative organization and follow-through abilities.
• Expertise in customer service.
• Background in loans, closing, loan processing, and loan administration.
