Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and finalize prospective bridge loan borrowers

• Build and sustain strong business relationships with clients

• Gather necessary documentation and financial details from potential borrowers

• Track and report on business development and sales activities

• Meet with both new and existing prospects

• Assist in formulating and implementing business strategies through comprehensive market and competitor analysis

• Source, assess, nurture, and finalize relationships for MMTC’s bridge loan initiatives

• Offer builders bridge financing and support borrowers in the residential real estate Fix & Flip and Ground Up construction sectors

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in originating bridge loans

• Self-sourced pipeline of at least $3 million monthly

• Established client portfolio

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and basic computer applications

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• High drive and a proactive attitude to identify issues, propose solutions, build relationships, and navigate institutional decision-making

• A collaborative mindset towards achieving tasks

• Team-oriented approach

• Strong analytical skills concerning risk and quality of originated assets

• Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting set deadlines

• Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven with measurable outcomes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Navigator, and Teams

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States
