Litigation Paralegal – Contract-based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote, on-demand litigation paralegal assistance for client law firms.

• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and various litigation documents.

• Independently manage cases and advance matters effectively.

• Conduct court filings, manage calendars, and oversee deadline compliance.

• Juggle multiple active cases while prioritizing tasks efficiently.

• Attend a 30-minute online meeting to discuss The Freelance Firm and the available opportunity.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of paralegal experience.

• Strong background in litigation; experience in any litigation practice area is acceptable.

• Proficient drafting abilities for pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.

• Solid understanding of litigation processes, court regulations, and deadlines.

• Proven experience in managing cases and progressing matters independently.

• Strong organizational skills and effective case management capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Familiarity with court filings, calendar management, and deadline oversight.

• Capability to handle multiple active cases and effectively prioritize assignments.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Highly reliable, accountable, and dependable.

• Strong work ethic accompanied by honesty and integrity.

• Self-motivated individual who can operate independently with minimal oversight.

• Must be available for a minimum of 35 hours per week.
