Linux/Application Administrator – Lernplattformen

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Operation, administration, and further development of the Learning Management System (ILIAS), including LTI and SCORM integrations.

• Installation, configuration, and support of specialized applications, as well as integration into the existing system landscape.

• Ensuring stable system operations through monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch and release management.

• Conceptualization, development, and maintenance of APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid knowledge and practical experience in the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MariaDB).

• Excellent skills in automation and scripting with PHP, Bash, and JavaScript.

• Experience in the operation and application management of complex specialized applications.

• Practical experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., ILIAS) and relational databases.

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration.

• Structured and independent working style with a high standard of quality.

• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong communication skills.

• Team-oriented personality with a reliable and collegial working style.
