Linux Administrator, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide support for advanced Linux environments

• Offer technical guidance to customers

• Assist the team in collaborating with a long-term client

• Organize requirements and clearly convey technical ideas to various audiences

• Assume responsibility and work autonomously

• Develop effort estimates and participate in the proposal process

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Linux system administration

• Several years of experience in complex technical customer projects, preferably in roles such as Consultant, Technical Lead, Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect

• Skilled in the administration of Linux servers

• Strong knowledge of networking, DNS, Active Directory, LDAP, containerization (Docker), APIs, and Single Sign-On

• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM)

• Ability to structure requirements clearly and present technical concepts understandably to diverse audiences

• Independent and responsible work ethic with strong consulting capabilities

• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus

• Familiarity with Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or ADFS

• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI

• Experience in effort estimation and proposal processes

• Proficiency in the German language is suggested by the German-language job posting but is not explicitly required
