This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more countries.
• Develop realistic scenarios that encompass needs analysis, product selection, illustrations, medical and financial underwriting, table ratings, replacements, and 1035 exchanges, as well as policy loans, surrenders, lapse, and reinstatement.
• Formulate coverage recommendations, illustration comparisons, underwriting evaluations, suitability justifications, replacement assessments, and policy-service decisions.
• Compose “golden” reference responses that meet the quality standards of experienced life and annuity practitioners.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses using structured rubrics to ensure product accuracy, suitability, mathematical correctness, and adequacy of disclosures.
• Detect unsupported illustration assumptions, unsuitable recommendations, confusion between different product types or tax treatments, and lapses in applying replacement or disclosure requirements.
• Deliver written feedback utilized by the research team to enhance model performance.
• Engage in onboarding office hours and calibration sessions.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in life insurance or annuity advisory, underwriting, new business, policy administration, product review, or suitability assessment.
• Familiarity with at least one product family: term, whole life, universal or indexed universal life, variable life, or fixed, indexed, and variable annuities.
• Knowledge of policy mechanics, including cost of insurance, crediting, caps, participation rates, surrender charges, riders, and guarantees.
• Capability to clearly explain tax treatment and suitability considerations, and to identify when a licensed or legal review is necessary.
• Exceptional written communication skills, quantitative acumen, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to differentiate product and suitability judgment from investment advice as well as formal tax or legal advice.
• Possession of a CLU, ChFC, FLMI, CFP, or equivalent designation (preferred qualification).
• Current or previously held life and health producer license or securities registration (preferred qualification).
• Experience in medical or financial life underwriting, including APS review, lab interpretation, or reinsurance referral (preferred qualification).
• Background in buy-sell, key-person, estate-planning, premium-finance, or executive-benefit cases (preferred qualification).
• Familiarity with suitability, Reg BI, or state replacement and disclosure review (preferred qualification).
