Líder Técnico de IA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical governance of the agent-based project built on Azure AI Foundry and accessed via AWS.

• Identify and advocate for the optimal technique based on requirements: generative LLM, classification, propensity, or rule engine.

• Design and maintain the contracts for domain agents, including inputs, outputs, autonomy, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) processes.

• Manage the tiered autonomy policy: Inform → Suggest → Prepare → Execute.

• Ensure that no agent begins in autonomous execution mode on the first day.

• Establish explainable rules for cases lacking sufficient historical data and outline the migration plan to machine learning models.

• Define golden sets, confidence thresholds, and bias controls by segment and geography in critical predictive models.

• Collaborate with Azure AI Foundry, AWS architectures for orchestration and integration (EKS), RAG, corporate governed embeddings, and AI observability (OTLP, FinOps by token transaction).

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI architecture applied to business contexts.

• Strong experience in the consumption and integration of LLMs (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex).

• Experience in generating embeddings, NLP, and optimizing inference costs.

• Proficiency with New Relic, Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and secret management.

• Experience in designing agent-based systems with governance policies (HITL, guardrails).

• Solid understanding of regulatory risks in AI and auditability to governmental/telecommunications oversight entities.

• Proven track record of avoiding over-engineering based on LLMs.

• Basic FinOps focus (cloud and AI budget optimization).

• Technical leadership and ability to engage with enterprise architecture.
