Licensing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete licensing processes from start to finish.

• Promptly and accurately initiate, monitor, and communicate all activities and expenditures related to licensing.

• Ensure that new Imagen specialists have all necessary licensure applications completed and submitted by their scheduled start date.

• Confirm that existing Imagen specialists maintain current licenses and fulfill compliance requirements across assigned clients and corresponding states.

• Ensure that current Imagen specialists acquire additional licensing and address other compliance needs for new clients in a timely manner.

• Effectively liaise with physicians and Imagen teams regarding licensing procedures.

• Collaborate with a third-party licensing vendor to guarantee timely licensure for all specialists.

• Assist specialists with state board licensure applications and the completion of necessary follow-up documents.

• Work in conjunction with Imagen teams and stakeholders to offer visibility and support related to Clinical Operations priorities.

• Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for newly hired physicians.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with current Imagen physicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with physician license applications; experience across multiple states is required (IMLC and State Boards).

• Established contacts and relationships with state boards and the IMLC.

• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to clearly and professionally convey next steps to providers and stakeholders.

• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Prior experience specifically with Radiologists in a licensing capacity within the healthcare industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with credentialing processes and payor enrollments is preferred.
