Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-informed therapy for families, individuals, and groups addressing eating disorders and associated diagnoses via telehealth.

• Utilize Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), among other evidence-supported interventions throughout various age groups.

• Manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, allocating 20-26 hours for direct patient care and the remainder for administrative responsibilities.

• Engage in initial and continuous training sessions.

• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.

• Utilize between-session messaging and coordinate with the treatment team through Equip’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Join treatment-team meetings, supervision sessions, and departmental meetings.

• Retain home-state licensure and acquire additional state licenses when requested.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Arkansas.

• Capacity to assist patients of all ages, with co-occurring conditions, diverse backgrounds, cultures, and varying levels of acuity.

• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.

• Availability to offer care on two evenings each week until 8 PM in alignment with the primary time zone of the patient caseload.

• Capability to deliver care safely and effectively in a virtual environment.

• Enthusiasm for mental health and eating disorder treatment.

• Willingness to provide 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care.

• Commitment to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 PM during weekdays.

• Readiness to attend mandatory meetings, supervision sessions, training, treatment huddles, labs, and all-hands meetings.

• Preferred: Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment.

• Preferred: Background in evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment environments.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting patients with suicidal thoughts and trauma.

• Preferred: Experience in case management and/or working within a multidisciplinary care team.

• Required: Completion of a graduate program in mental health counseling/therapy accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or a comparable body.

• Required: Fully/independently licensed mental health therapist.

• Ability to provide reliable internet access and maintain a private workspace.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements will be disclosed during the application process.
