This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Deliver evidence-informed family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and accompanying diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth environment.
• Utilize Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E), CBT for Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and other evidence-supported therapies throughout the lifespan.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, dedicating 20-26 hours to direct care while allocating remaining time for administrative responsibilities.
• Engage in initial and ongoing training sessions.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging and interact with the treatment team through Equip’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Attend treatment team meetings, supervision sessions, and departmental meetings.
• Maintain licensure in the primary state and secure additional state licenses as needed.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Possession of an active, unrestricted, and independent psychotherapy license in Oregon.
• Ability to assist patients of all ages, with co-occurring conditions, diverse cultural backgrounds, and varying levels of acuity.
• Commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.
• Willingness to provide care two evenings per week until 8 PM in the primary patient time zone.
• Capability to deliver care safely and effectively in a virtual setting.
• Enthusiasm for mental health and eating disorder treatment as well as improving access to care.
• Availability to provide 30 hours per week of direct patient care.
• Commitment to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 PM during the week, or after 3 PM in Mountain Standard Time.
• Participation in required meetings, including group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or an equivalent organization.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
• Preferred: experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder care.
• Preferred: familiarity with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive care environments.
• Preferred: experience assisting patients with suicidal thoughts and trauma.
• Preferred: background in case management and/or collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Reliable internet access and a private workspace for remote work are essential.
• Willingness to provide care exclusively in a virtual/telehealth setting.
