Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-informed therapy for families, individuals, and groups dealing with eating disorders and related diagnoses within a virtual clinic setting.

• Utilize FBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-supported treatment modalities throughout various life stages.

• Manage a caseload of 30-40 patients, dedicating 20-26 hours to direct care while allocating the remaining time to administrative responsibilities.

• Engage in both initial and ongoing training sessions.

• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.

• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.

• Utilize between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team via Equip’s EMR system.

• Attend treatment team meetings, supervision sessions, and departmental gatherings.

• Maintain licensure in your home state and acquire additional state licenses as necessary.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Mississippi.

• Capability to support patients across all ages, with co-occurring conditions, diverse backgrounds and cultures, and varying levels of acuity.

• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.

• Availability to provide care two evenings per week until 8 PM in the primary patient time zone.

• Proficient in delivering care safely and effectively in a virtual environment.

• Deep passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment.

• Ability to commit to 30 hours per week of direct patient care availability.

• Willingness to ensure a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 PM on weekdays.

• Readiness to attend mandatory meetings, supervision, training sessions, and departmental meetings.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or a comparable accrediting organization.

• Capacity to work exclusively in a virtual/telehealth format with reliable internet access and a private workspace.

• Preferred: experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or treatment of eating disorders.

• Preferred: familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices and/or intensive treatment environments.

• Preferred: experience assisting patients dealing with suicidal ideation and trauma.

• Preferred: background in case management and/or working within multidisciplinary care teams.
