Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health’s telehealth platform.

• Provide mental health care utilizing telehealth technology.

• Offer therapy to patients of all ages, including adolescents aged 13–17.

• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders and substance abuse issues.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to reach their treatment objectives.

• Maintain approximately 30 patient-facing hours each week, typically managing 6–8 patients daily.

• Complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient appointments.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Competence in providing one-on-one psychotherapy.

• Willingness to offer therapy to adolescents aged 13–17.

• Capability to fulfill approximately 30 patient-facing hours each week, typically seeing 6–8 patients daily.

• Ability to complete clinical documentation during patient sessions.

• Willingness to adhere to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule.
