Licensed Professional Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accept referrals and manage a client caseload of no less than 18 hours each week.

• Provide individual counseling or facilitate family sessions to help clients overcome dependencies, adapt to life changes, or implement necessary modifications.

• Initiate internal referrals to the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) if there is minimal to no improvement after 8 weeks of Outpatient (OP) therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies to effectively address their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans informed by clinical expertise and knowledge.

• Set SMART goals collaboratively with patients.

• Design treatment plans within 72 hours post-intake and revise or update them every 4 weeks.

• Complete and maintain all client-related documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Prepare progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Organize and keep up-to-date required treatment records and reports.

• Assess clients' physical or mental conditions based on the information provided.

• Collaborate with team members on clinical assessments or treatment plans within 2 days of initiating care for an existing patient.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when necessary.

• Stay updated with advancements in counseling through professional literature, courses, seminars, and interactions with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• A current and active license to practice behavioral health in Texas.

• Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology (Preferred Qualifications).

• At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings (Preferred Qualifications).
