Licensed Professional Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Receive referrals and manage a client caseload of at least 18 hours weekly.

• Provide individual counseling or family sessions to help clients overcome dependencies, adapt to life changes, or implement modifications.

• Initiate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if minimal to no progress is observed within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in acquiring skills or strategies to address their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans grounded in clinical expertise and knowledge, setting SMART goals with patients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours post-intake and revise them every 4 weeks as necessary.

• Complete and uphold client documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Finalize progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and sustain essential treatment records and reports.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health status by reviewing their information.

• Work collaboratively with team members on clinical evaluations and treatment strategies within 2 days of initiating care for existing patients.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when appropriate.

• Stay informed about advancements in counseling through professional literature, courses, seminars, and interactions with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

• Two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• Valid and active license to practice behavioral health in Tennessee.

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology (Preferred Qualifications).

• 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings (Preferred Qualifications).
