This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote psychotherapy services to patients in Washington dealing with mental health issues and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.

• Work with individuals who have been referred from an opioid treatment program.

• Evaluate and diagnose patients following DSM-5-TR and/or ASAM criteria.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, providers, and selected support systems.

• Offer diagnostic, treatment, referral, and crisis intervention services.

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for adults.

• Coordinate services and consult with professional colleagues, including making referrals for psychiatric evaluations or medication management.

• Engage in interdisciplinary case conferences with the clinic partner.

• Perform risk assessments and make appropriate referrals.

• Maintain patient documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system.

• Attend relevant committee, departmental, and team meetings.

• Provide clinical oversight to unlicensed therapists, interns, or other mental health professionals as needed.

• Make clinical decisions related to diagnosis, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis management, and referrals.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited university or institution of higher learning in counseling, clinical social work, or psychology with a focus on clinical practice.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license in Washington State: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in psychotherapy, including at least 1 year of providing telehealth services.

• Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.

• Capable of assessing and diagnosing using DSM-5-TR and/or ASAM criteria.

• Skilled in conducting risk assessments, crisis management, and emergency interventions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Proficient in managing multiple cases and meeting documentation deadlines.
