Licensed Insurance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform needs assessments and provide information on plan and enrollment options across ACA Marketplace and Medicare product lines.

• Respond to inbound phone inquiries from individuals experiencing a loss-of-coverage during a Special Enrollment Period or annual enrollment window.

• Assess eligibility for ACA Marketplace plans, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Part D coverage.

• Effectively present and compare benefits, premiums, deductibles, and network considerations.

• Record interactions and enrollment results in the specified CRM platform.

• Achieve or surpass individual service level, quality, and productivity benchmarks.

• Maintain active licensure in all necessary states throughout the engagement.

• Keep up-to-date with plan offerings, carrier guidelines, CMS regulations, and SEP eligibility criteria.

• Collaborate with non-licensed support staff who receive warm transfers and manage pre-qualified contacts.

• Operate during call-center hours of 9am to 6pm CT, Monday through Friday.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current health insurance producer license in good standing, with a resident license in Iowa, Minnesota, Washington, Oregon, South Carolina, or Florida.

• Not currently bound to another insurance agency or carrier.

• At least 2 years of experience in selling individual health insurance, ACA Marketplace plans, or Medicare products.

• Proven experience in conducting enrollment discussions over the phone.

• Strong understanding of ACA subsidy calculations, SEP qualifying events, and Medicare eligibility regulations.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting with little supervision.

• Dependable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and web-based enrollment systems.

• Preference for active licensure in multiple states.

• Experience in a high-volume inbound call center environment is preferred.

• AHIP Medicare certification (current year preferred).

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Licensure verification required prior to contract execution.
