Licensed Independent Social Worker, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services via Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide empathetic, high-quality mental health care to individuals of all ages.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans and serve as a licensed provider for Medicaid and Medicare.

• Complete approximately 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Work in partnership with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools throughout the day.

• Assist Brave Health's growth by acquiring additional state licenses as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and necessary licensure.

• Current, unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private work-from-home environment that complies with patient safety and HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to secure additional state licenses as necessary for company growth.

• Ability to fulfill 30 hours of client care weekly.

• Background in working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Independent clinical licensure, including LISW or an equivalent credential.
