Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist, Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Offer outpatient mental health services via Brave Health’s telehealth platform.

• Provide empathetic, high-quality mental health care utilizing technology.

• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to reach their treatment objectives.

• Deliver therapy to patients of all ages, including adolescents aged 13–17.

• Maintain approximately 30 patient-facing hours weekly, generally seeing 6–8 patients daily.

• Complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient appointments.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Potentially acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Dedicated work-from-home environment ensuring patient safety and compliance with HIPAA.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Proven experience working with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Active independent licensure in the relevant state.

• Ability to provide individual psychotherapy.

• Readiness to offer therapy to adolescents aged 13–17.

• Commitment to approximately 30 patient-facing hours weekly, typically seeing 6–8 patients daily.

• Ability to complete clinical documentation during patient sessions.

• Willingness to adhere to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule.
