This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to existing clients and their mortgage providers.
• Issue policy documents, confirm coverage, accept payments, and address inquiries related to products and services.
• Draft correspondence and cater to customer requests to guarantee satisfaction.
• Handle incoming calls, addressing policy and billing inquiries or redirecting calls as necessary.
• Process payments and conduct mortgage verifications within designated authority limits.
• Investigate customer inquiries and respond to relevant parties promptly.
• Manage calls to achieve or surpass service standards.
• Execute requests within authority parameters and accurately document records.
• Collaborate with team members, management, and clients regarding customer service matters.
• Direct callers to underwriters when suitable.
• Handle a significant volume of incoming and outgoing calls.
• Provide precise, valid, and comprehensive information using the appropriate methods and tools.
• Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of 2 years in Property and Casualty Insurance experience and/or training, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Property & Casualty Personal Lines Producer insurance license in the state of residence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Outstanding listening and verbal/written communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic, high-volume call center environment.
• Keen attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities.
• Established business and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance products.
• Skill in gathering and analyzing information effectively.
• Ability to learn and accurately process data with company-specific software.
• Capacity to adhere to policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proven ability to manage challenging or emotional customer interactions effectively.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Proven team player.
• Self-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
• Candidates must reside in an eligible state; Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, and West Virginia are excluded from remote positions.
• Experience in insurance, preferably with an insurance agency or direct carrier, is advantageous.
• Preference for candidates with homeowners' insurance experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
