This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serve as a point of contact between LabCorp, customers, and patients.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of laboratory operations across various departments.
• Address routine inquiries by utilizing internal systems and procedures.
• Interact professionally with both internal and external clients.
• Assess and confirm client requirements to deliver appropriate solutions.
• Achieve productivity, quality, and service benchmarks.
• Identify underlying causes and assist in preventing recurring problems.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Investigate and resolve complex inquiries by leveraging databases.
• Review test documentation for accuracy and rectify discrepancies in line with standard operating protocols.
• Support efforts aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Keep precise records and maintain CRM data in adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues to reduce service interruptions.
• Engage in initiatives focused on improving customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal stakeholders to meet client needs.
• Provide patients with test results, specimen requirements, turnaround times, and solutions to intricate issues.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service position.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a contact center or call center setting.
• Reliable internet connection with a compatible provider (minimum 50 Mbps download speed).
• Over 1 year of experience with software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Verint, Salesforce, LIS).
• A workspace that is HIPAA-compliant and free from distractions.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to multitask across multiple systems and proficiency in typing.
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by active listening abilities.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology used in clinical environments.
• Preferred: Associate degree.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a medical-related field.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare sector, such as a physician's office or hospital.
