Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Professional Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide counseling to clients or patients on an individual basis and/or during family sessions to help them overcome dependencies, adapt to life changes, or initiate personal transformations.

• Make internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no progress within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies for effectively managing their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans based on clinical expertise and knowledge, setting SMART goals in collaboration with patients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours following intake and revise or adjust them every 4 weeks.

• Complete and manage client-related documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Write progress notes within 48 hours after each session.

• Prepare and maintain necessary treatment records and reports.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental conditions by reviewing client information.

• Work collaboratively with staff members to conduct clinical assessments or formulate treatment plans within 2 days of beginning care with an existing patient.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when required.

• Stay informed about new developments in counseling through professional literature, courses, seminars, and interactions with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• Two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• A current and active license to practice behavioral health (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Louisiana is mandatory.

• Cross-licensure in Texas is essential.

• Candidates with experience in grief counseling will be prioritized.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in oncology.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings.
