This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and implement suitable treatment approaches for individuals in the behavioral health program.
• Welcome patients and introduce oneself while maintaining a professional, customer-oriented demeanor.
• Confirm patient details, medical history, medications, and the purpose of their visit.
• Perform pre-surgical evaluations and diagnostics for surgical implant procedures as necessary.
• Provide assessments, diagnoses, individual therapy, routine counseling, crisis interventions, and suicide risk evaluations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Offer referrals for additional services as required.
• Create and sustain content for patient education and counseling programs.
• Accurately document patient information in EMR/EHR systems.
• Ensure the security of patient information and protect the confidentiality of medical records.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment while adhering to legal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and other team members in delivering patient services.
• Report directly to the Chief Clinical Officer and work with Department Directors to establish protocols and uphold program integrity and initiatives.
• Work indirectly under the supervision of physicians and mid-level providers.
• Utilize standard office equipment effectively.
• Comply with Advanced Pain Care policies, procedures, and professional standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree in social work is required.
• Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is mandatory.
• At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
• Skills for tactful public interactions.
• Knowledge of safety practices.
• Capacity to safeguard patient information and ensure confidentiality.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Capability to bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift and transport boxes and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity for operating office equipment.
