Licensed Clinical Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and execute suitable treatment strategies for patients within the behavioral health program.

• Welcome patients and introduce yourself.

• Confirm patient details, including medical history, medications, and the purpose of the visit.

• Conduct pre-surgical assessments and diagnoses for surgical implant procedures.

• Provide evaluations, diagnoses, individual therapy, routine counseling, crisis interventions, and assessments for suicide risk.

• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions.

• Offer referrals for additional services as required.

• Create content for patient education and counseling initiatives.

• Maintain documentation of patient information in EMR/EHR records.

• Protect medical records and uphold patient confidentiality.

• Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.

• Collaborate with clinical staff and other team members to deliver patient services.

• Work with Department Directors to establish protocols and uphold program initiatives and integrity.

• Utilize standard office equipment effectively.

• Comply with Advanced Pain Care policies, procedures, and relevant requirements.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work is required.

• A license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Capability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Skillful in interacting with the public in a tactful manner.

• Knowledge of safety practices.

• Ability to safeguard patient information and maintain confidentiality.

• Willingness to work a standard schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Capacity to sit and/or stand for extended periods.

• Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch as necessary.

• Capability to lift and transport boxes and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.

• Adequate eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
