This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Evaluate Auto Property Damage claims for a specific client to ascertain the benefits owed.
β’ Handle low-complexity Auto Property Damage claims.
β’ Conduct investigations and gather data to assess claim exposure.
β’ Create action plans to resolve claims in an appropriate and timely manner.
β’ Negotiate claim settlements within the established authority limits.
β’ Identify opportunities for subrogation and negotiate settlements with general oversight.
β’ Communicate updates on claim activities and processing with both claimants and clients.
β’ Report claims to excess carriers.
β’ Address requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
β’ Adjudicate claims in accordance with service expectations, company standards, industry best practices, and client specifications.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
β’ A High School Diploma or GED is required.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
β’ Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of nationwide jurisdiction.
β’ Necessary licensing is required.
β’ Proficient in analyzing Auto Property Damage claims.
β’ Capable of investigating claims and gathering necessary information to assess exposure.
β’ Skilled in negotiating settlements within designated authority.
β’ Ability to effectively communicate claim activities and processing with claimants and clients.
β’ Competent in reporting claims to excess carriers and responding to direction requests.
β’ Capable of operating within company standards, industry best practices, and client service requirements.
